Grief Liberation: Conversations in Community
Hello and welcome to Grief Liberation: Conversations in Community! This podcast explores the different types of grief that exist while holding space for complexity and nuance. Grief shows up in all bodies despite age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, social class, physical ability, or any other identifier. Let's demystify grief and build a stronger community together!

About Me
Hello! I'm Matti (they/them) and I am so glad you're here. Here's some background about me: I am white, transgender, nonbinary, disabled and neurodivergent. I live in Vermont with my furry friend, Jimothy (Jimi) and love the majestic scenery of this place. It feels sacred. Quiet. A great place for an introvert who spends a lot of time in deep contemplation and meditation. This podcast started as a part of my thesis project for my BA in Psychology (with a minor in Gender Studies) at Naropa University and has bloomed into a passion of mine. Music and art are the way to my heart, yet I am moved by all artistic mediums. When my body is able, I enjoy liberation studies, deep conversations, gaming, performing, being in nature, attending drag/burlesque shows, writing poetry and music, and learning all the things.
I have experienced many types of grief, myself, and hope that people connect to my story, as well as the stories shared within the podcast. Grief is a sacred journey and practice. Let us honor all the parts of our self that are begging to be seen and heard.
And remember...
Please be kind to yourself.
With love and gratitude,
-Matti Marvelous
